Best places for walking in Zambia
South Luangwa is excellent for walking and was where walking safaris were pioneered. All the camps and lodges are geared up for walking, some being exclusively for walking. This area also has specific, set departure mobile walking safaris.
North Luangwa is one of the best places for walking. There is virtually no road structure at all so you will never come across other people or cars.
Lower Zambezi also has walking but the emphasis is not as great as in other areas.
