I want to visit Vic Falls on my safari
Victoria Falls lies between Zambia and Zimbabwe but is actually only a stone’s throw from Botswana and Namibia too. If you are doing a safari in any of these countries, it would be a shame not to catch a glimpse of this spectacular landmark and perhaps indulge in one or two of the activities on offer here.
Aside from the scenic walk along the edge of the falls (where getting wet is all part of the experience), you can also white-water raft the gorge, bungy jump (if you have completely lost your marbles), take a helicopter flight, enjoy a lazy Zambezi sunset cruise, and even soak in a calm pool right at the point where the water changes direction from calmly horizontal to thunderously vertical. Depending on how keen you are to do these things, you should allow a minimum of two nights in Victoria Falls (on the Zimbabwean side) or Livingstone (on the Zambian side).
International flights can be booked directly to Victoria Falls airport or Livingstone airport where there are a range of accommodation options. You can either start or end your safari in here (depending on how your itinerary works out). If you would like to include the Falls, make sure you let us know so that we can take it into account when putting a safari together for you.
