On water - Boat Safaris
Boat safaris in Africa are a marked contrast to any other type of safari. The luxury here is the peace that comes with being on the water and, of course, a different angle on the animal sightings; hippo, crocs and if you're lucky, elephant in the water.
Particularly in the dry season, there's the chance to drift silently up to animals on the river banks. Another luxury, and speciality of the Selous, is the chance to combine boat safaris with walking safaris and driving safaris.
Best locations for Boat Safaris in Africa
The Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia and Zimbabwean counterpart, Mana Pools, are among the best places to see wildlife from the water. The Selous in Tanzania offers superb river safaris and of course the Okavango Delta in Botswana is one of the best known regions in Africa for water based safaris.

At Natural High, we've all lived and worked in Africa, so our knowledge is born of
hands-on experience rather than simply visiting on holiday. We can't over-stress how
worthwhile it is to take a few minutes to call us. We're not in the business churning
out thousands of packages so if you'd like to discuss things in detail, take a few
