Kwara Camp is in the southern most corner of the huge private Kwara concession on the northern edge of the Delta which is at the exclusive disposal of only two camps.
One of the only camps to be able to offer permanent water-based activities plus game and night drives and guided walks, Kwara is ideal for those looking for a comfortable but un-fussy base from which to explore the Delta. Most of the activities tend to focus around the network of channels around the islands, reedbeds and lagoons where the multitude of herbivores, crocodile, hippo and elephant congregate. The big cats, hyena and wild dog are regularly seen here and for those that are interested in birdlife or fishing, there is plenty of both on offer here.
Kwara doesn't offer the same lush opulence of some of the other camps but is oriented very much on optimising the bush experience, with knowledgeable and personable guides and activities that are flexible according to the interests and wishes of the guests.
