The big cats, hyena and wild dog are regularly seen here and for those that are interested in birdlife or fishing, there is plenty of both on offer here.

Linyanti Kwando

A vast concession of 232,000ha on the northern border of Botswana, bordered on the east by the Kwando river and to the south by the Selinda Concession. Kwando is an exclusive concession with only two small camps. 80km of permanent river frontage offers refuge to abundant hippo and crocodile while the open flood plains to the west are home to a wide variety of plains game, large numbers of lion, wild dog, hyena and cheetah. Sitatunga and lechwe inhabit the reedbeds and there are also over 300 species of bird. The advantage of visiting Kwando is the exclusivity it offers and the flexibility that is the watchword of the two camps in this area. Read more?

Botswana

Botswana safaris offer dramatic extremes.  On the one hand, the lush landscapes of the Okavango Delta and the Linyanti and Chobe River systems, on the other, the beautiful other-worldly expanse of the Makgadikgadi Pans and the Kalahari Desert.  The variety of habitats makes for varied animal and birdlife as well as beautiful scenery.
