Kwetsani Camp is one of the most appealing 'classic' camps in the Delta with an eye for detail and an attractive design that allows for plenty of space and privacy and great views over the surrounding flood-plain. The camp is centrally located in the permanent Delta on a heavily wooded island within a private concession west of Mombo.
The 'Tree-house Chalets', built of rich wood, thatch and glass are hidden within a grove of Palm, Mangosteen and Fig tree. The rooms are large and well-laid out and the outdoor showers under the canopy of trees adds an appealing touch. Guests can enjoy game viewing from private decks, the camp plunge pool or out and about in either open vehicles or boats; activities are evenly balanced between water and land. Animals regularly sighted here include lion, leopard, wild dog, cheetah, tsessebe and lechwe among others.
Kwetsani offers an attractive, more remote destination with all the activities in a prime location but does not carry the 'premier' badge so has a smaller price-tag than many of the other Delta camps.

The Okavango Delta is the largest inland Delta in the world and is incomparable to any other game destination in Africa. A vast spread of channels, lagoons, forests and reed islands spreads across northern Botswana and disappears into the sands of the Kalahari. As you can imagine, birdlife is amazing here and game viewing too is very special; not only because of the variety and number of animals but also because you can do a great deal by boat, giving a totally different perspective to the traditional bumpy, dusty game drives. One the one hand, the lush landscapes of the Okavango Delta and the Linyanti/Chobe River systems, on the other, the beautiful other-worldly expanse of the Makgadikgadi Pans and the Kalahari Desert.
