A simple camp notable for its semi-habituated elephants. A good choice for families.
Seba Camp is located within the riverine forest on the south-western side of the delta and it is surrounded by seasonal flood plains. This camps makes for a slightly different Okavango destination.
Normally, the area consists of grassy expanses and copses of palm and hardwood trees providing food for the wide variety of plains game, but in winter the area floods and becomes a haven for water fowl, lechwe and sitatunga. The camp is named after one of the habituated elephants released from nearby {Abu Camp}'s herd by founder Randall Moore. Seba Camp enjoys the proximity of this friendly herd along with other wild elephants and a host of other big game.
Activities here range from game drives and walks in the dry season to water-based activities in the wet. There is the added interest of observing the elephants with the field teams of researchers that are involved in the study of these great pachyderms. The camp itself is simply but unimaginatively styled but in terms of experiential quality, it holds it's own among the more flashy destinations in the Delta.

The Okavango Delta is the largest inland Delta in the world and is incomparable to any other game destination in Africa. A vast spread of channels, lagoons, forests and reed islands spreads across northern Botswana and disappears into the sands of the Kalahari. As you can imagine, birdlife is amazing here and game viewing too is very special; not only because of the variety and number of animals but also because you can do a great deal by boat, giving a totally different perspective to the traditional bumpy, dusty game drives.
