Stanley's Camp is on a 260,000 acre private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, on the south-eastern edge of the Delta, on the tip of Chief's Island.
Although in a more traditional style than some of the other sumptuous lodges in the Delta, Stanley's still offers a very high level of comfort and wildlife experience. Large tents on raised platforms overlook the plains, which are seasonally flooded by the water of the Okavango and the main sitting and dining area is built around a large Sausage Tree.
Stanley's is a little smaller than Chief's Camp and has the added attraction of offering both night drives and walking safaris, which are uncommon in the Delta. Mokoro or dug-out canoe trips are available during much of the year but do depend on the water levels. Wildlife here is of the same extremely high standard as elsewhere, particularly of buffalo which can reach herds of thousands. An additional activity offered at Stanley's at an extra cost, is a morning walking with a small family of semi-habituated elephants ending with a picnic in the bush.

The Okavango Delta is the largest inland Delta in the world and is incomparable to any other game destination in Africa. A vast spread of channels, lagoons, forests and reed islands spreads across northern Botswana and disappears into the sands of the Kalahari.
