Since opening in 2009 Aman New Delhi has set new standards for luxury in the capital, yet it is never over the top. Impeccable guest rooms and suites are complemented by fabulous spa facilities and fine restaurants serving world class cuisine. The service is friendly and attentive, but never overbearing.

The design of Aman New Delhi is sleek and contemporary, hip but elegant and complemented with age-old Indian touches such as hand-made rugs and jalis, ornamental screens typical of Mughal architecture. Each of the spacious rooms, decorated with polished timber furniture, upholstered with leather and natural linens in muted tones, comes complete with a plunge pool on a private terrace. The suites have a view of the 16th century Humayan’s tomb complex and gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The health centre includes tennis and squash courts while a range of deliciously scented treatments are available in the spa which also has two Hamman steam baths and a hair and beauty salon for the perfectly pampered stay. There’s also a 50m swimming pool.
