Perhaps now the most famous accommodation in Morocco, this idyllic country club style hotel is well deserving of its reputation.  Few places capture the feeling of Shangri-La as this hotel does.  As unassuming door in a long ochre coloured wall opens into a virtual paradise.  Reflection pools filled with rose petals, long avenues of Cypress trees, orange and lime groves, one of the most beautiful settings of an infinity pool every dreamt up and the silent footed ever-attentive staff.

Bought by Richard Branson for its stunning location, with views up to Mount Toubkal and back down the valley to Asni, this is a Kasbah with a difference.  It is the best of the best, unashamedly sybaritic in every way.  No two rooms are the same, ranging from the superior rooms to the luxury Berber tented rooms with their own private plunge pools.

The options for entertainment are endless, a beautiful spa with indoor pool, a gym facing the Atlas mountains, tennis, trekking, riding and outstanding dining.  Ideal as a stand alone holiday or as part of the full Moroccan itinerary, it is one of those places that you should aspire to visit at least once in your life.

The hotel accommodates a maximum of 48 guests in standard rooms, suites and luxury tented suites.  Please note that there is a policy that children of all ages are welcome only for selected dates, corresponding roughly to English school holidays. Please check the dates with us.

Kasbah Tamadot is the ideal escape for groups, as the entire proprty can be hired for privat use.  The hotel has 24 rooms in total.

High Atlas Mountains

The High Atlas, the greatest mountain range of North Africa, is one of the most beautiful and intriguing part of Morocco. It has retained a remoteness which until recent decades was virtually complete, and contains villages where the way of life has changed little for centuries.  Read more?

Morocco

Morocco is a country of immense and diverse physical beauty, with some of the most inspiring areas of pristine wilderness in Africa. It's also superb value and just a few short hours flight from the UK.  From the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas to its wave-strafed Atlantic coastline and on south to the billowing, seemingly endless sand dunes that run away into the Sahara Desert.  For a country so close to Europe it’s exhilarating to find such an intact culture and epic North African landscape with real contrast to anything European at almost every turn. Leave Marrakesh and head south and in less than an hour you’re climbing into the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains.  This is magnificent trekking country where you can thread your way among small Berber villages, supported by mule trains, either on foot or on horseback, supported with a light tented campRead more?
