Villa des Orangers

At the foot of the Koutoubia mosque, with its matchless landmark minaret and only 5 minutes walk from the Djemaa el Fna square,the Villa des Orangers offers an exceptional location to explore the
medina. It is only 15 minutes drive from the airport.

Villa des Orangers, the only Relais & Châteaux hotel in Marrakesh, has been extremely popular with its European clientèle since it opened in 1998, largely due to it's ability to retain the character of a riad within the context of a very elegant and successful five-star hotel. 

Its 27 elegant rooms arranged on two levels around three verdant open-sky patios with
water fountains are decorated with local crafts - carved wooden furniture, chiselled plaster and camel-bone frame mirrors.  The theme is chic and understated but with a healthy serving of opulence.  There are plenty of luxury touches, such as the Moroccan slippers in your bedroom and "Essence de Marrakesh" bath goodies in which to soak. The range of accommodations is wide; three new suites are enormous and at least one includes an extra room that houses a massage table.

Three patios and three salons, in addition to the dining room, provide plenty of nooks for private dining. Spacious gardens and patios surround a beautiful 18m pool which has recenty been added and there is another on the roof terrace, which has splendid views over the Koutoubia mosque towards the Atlas Mountains. It is the feeling of space that perhaps recommends it the most when compared to other riads in the uber-luxury category. 

The dining room is a must for dinner. The chef takes a creative look at traditional Moroccan cuisine which you will appreciate after the set menus served at some of the best restaurants in the city. 

Here also you will find a spa and beauty salon, a fitness club, cigar cellar, a bar open all day so that you can sip mint tea and nibble at Moroccan sweetmeats at your leisure…The attentive staff transforms each hour of the day into moments of relaxation and well being.

All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, safe, direct dial telephone, en suite bathroom with separate bath and shower, double sink, hairdryer. There is free wi-fi access in the salon rooms on the ground floor.

The three master suites are about 100m² each and laid out on two levels. They all have a living room with fireplace, a writing desk and upstairs, the bedroom with fireplace as well, bath, separate shower, dressing area and a balcony overlooking the pool and garden. They also have plasma screen TV, DVD-CD player.
