Olakira camp is a superb small luxury tented camp that follows the wildebeest migration as it moves through the Serengeti. There are a couple of well established, highly professional, safari operators in Tanzania, who offer a superb and particularly east african safari experience. Olokira is one of these, operated by Asilia Lodges (the other being Nomad Tanzania).

These small tented camps tend to offer a far higher level of service, and - perhaps surprisingly - overall luxury, than the large lodges in the Serengeti and would always be our preference as a way of seeing the migration.

Tanzania safaris rival a safari any other country in Africa in terms of sheer wilderness, formidable landscapes and volume of wildlife.  At Natural High, we have travelled all over the country, worked in some of its best Tanzania safari camps and lodges and flown all over as bush pilots so we feel qualified to venture such opinions.
