Galu Beach
Galu Beach lies at the southern end of Diani Beach on Kenya south coast, tranquil by comparison with considerably less action. A great mix of endless white beaches interspersed with stunning rock pools teeming with life, Galu beach has earned a reputation as a Kenyan "Maldives".
This is classified as a ‘Kaya’ area (protected by the National Museum) due to its surrounding holy forests and sacred land to which access is available for those who can tear themselves away from the waters edge to walk or bike through the network of trails that link the numerous small villages and homesteads.
