Naibor Camp
Accommodation - smart & stylish tented camp with 7 tents
Price Guide - $435 - 550 pppn
Naibor Camp is a recent addition to the Mara Reserve and has filled a niche in the central Mara by providing a stylish tented experience in the epi-centre of Mara activity. Many of the Mara properties have overlooked attention to detail within the camp, but have incredible locations or are stunning properties but rather limited on wildlife. Each large en-suite pale canvas tent has its own particular view of the surrounding bush and shares a main dining or 'mess' tent overlooking the river. For families or those that want a bit more space, Naibor also has two tented suites which comprise two double rooms and a central sitting area and outdoor camp fire.
The Manager, Patrick, is a friendly and hospitable host with long experience in tourism and a particular culinary flair, so you can be sure that you will be well fed. The staff at Naibor are a close-knit team so the camp runs like clockwork, and the atmosphere is one of discreet attentiveness and smoothly-planned operation, without sacrificing the flexibility of a small camp.
The team are very good at ensuring that you experience the best of this part of Kenya without being pushy and the added flourishes, such as massage and spa treatments, makes the experience memorable and personal. Although you won't be able to walk from this camp, since it is in the Reserve, for those that want to be right in the middle of the action, this is the place to be.
