| We can organise your international flights for you if you are travelling from the UK. Please ask us about this when you make your enquiry. There are three main international Airports in Tanzania that are used by most people visiting the country. Kilimanjaro Airport [JRO] in northern Tanzania very close to Arusha, Dar es Salaam International Airport [DAR] in the south and Zanzibar. Jomo Kenyatta [NBO] in Kenya is also within easy striking range of northern Tanzania. The two main carriers are KLM Royal Dutch who fly every day to both Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam and British Airways who fly every day to Nairobi and three times a week to Dar es Salaam. You can access any part of the country from either airport, but the following will give you a very simple idea of which airport is most convenient for each national park. It often works best to fly in at one end of the country and out at the other.
