 There are 25 tents at Kirawira. All are ensuite, large and very comfortable with a slightly unimaginative form of luxury to them. Beds are large, with comfortable mattresses sheets and blankets and bathrooms are immaculate and efficient. The tents are high up on platforms with a big verandah in front where you can sit and look out over the plains below. When we were there you had to ignore the fact that your neighbour could see pretty much anything you were doing and hear the slightest noise in your tent. The tents are supplied with electricity and paths are well lit.  The dining room and bar buildings are half tent and half permanent structure with tables and comfortable armchairs scattered around. Much is made of the lodge's Victorian style, but staying there it was hard to see why…Kirawira Tented Camp home page
