Kirawira Interesting Part Park Edges

If you are staying at Kirawira it'll most likely be as part of a driving safari from Arusha. There are some beautiful parts to explore here within the park and on the edges of Ikorongo Game Controlled area.

If you are here in the wet season, the only down side is that you may not be able to leave the main roads. If this is the case the area is much less interesting as the beauty of this part of the park is the space and remoteness afforded by the small tracks. Kirawira is close to the western gate of the Serengeti, so it's fairly easy to get to Lake Victoria from here. It's a drive of a couple of hours or so and is quite interesting.
