Manyara Tree Lodge Camp Activities

We generally recommend that you travel with your own vehicle and guide in Northern Tanzania, in which case game driving from Tree Camp is entirely at your convenience and you can plan your daily activities with your guide to suit your self. If you fly to Manyara Tree Lodge there are good vehicles available for use on a shared basis. The quality of guiding at Manyara Tree Camp is very good.

If you are visiting Manyara Tree Lodge you probably want to have a couple of days here because of the time it takes to get here and because once you're there you'll want to enjoy the lodge as much as the safari activities, so it pays not to be in a hurry. Game at Lake Manyara is plentiful, but not always easy to see, so you need to go slowly and take your time.

There is talk of walks in Manyara, but while we were there it still wasn't possible. It should be happening within the next year. And it will be great when it does, especially along the lake shore.
