Game Ruaha Drives Basis Vehicle

Ruaha has phenomenal quantities of game and, particularly in the dry season (June - November) action is never far away. Much of the game activity in Ruaha tends to be towards the middle of the day as animals such as Sable and Roan come off the escarpment to drink at the Ruaha River.

Game drives are in open sided Land Cruisers with canvas sunshades and superb all round visibility. At Mwagusi they'll always go the extra mile for you, so game drives aren't run on a strict time basis. If there's something to see, the guides will likely be as keen as you to stay and see what happens and if you're a little late for lunch, so be it. Game drives are on a shared basis with a maximum of 6 per vehicle in three rows so everyone gets a "window" seat.
