Ngorongoro Serena Lodge - Accommodation

Ngorongoro Serena lodge is long and thin with a series of long and rather dark corridors off which are the 75 rooms. It's designed in this way so that it isn't too much of an eye sore from the crater floor and so that each room gets a view.

The rooms at Ngorongoro Serena are clean, comfortable and simply decorated with ensuite bathrooms (with showers rather than baths). There is a small verandah in front of many of the rooms where you can sit and have a drink and enjoy the view of the Ngorongoro Crater floor. There is a central dining area and bar. Be prepared for Maasai dancing at Serena lodge as this can be sprung on you in the evenings.
