Tents Tent Fans Space Standing

Selous Safari camp has been recently upgraded aiming to retain the mood of the original camp, whilst lavishly expanding space and ventilation. The result is a tent that feels East African in every sense, but which exploits space, breeze and an excuse for a view in the smallest design detail. Every tent panel has vast windows now and each tent has not one, but two verandas (front and rear) with sound-surround views. The new Selous tents have a unique hexagonal shape which makes the most of window areas and creates a bright & airy space.

Tents each measure 3.35 m wide x 7.17 m long - doubles, twins and singles available
All tents front onto the Rufiji River and are located for maximum privacy
Double beds are 6 feet wide with bedside tables, bedside lights and free standing fans
Dressing area is contained within the tent with cupboards, hand basin and flush loo
Enclosed open air showers with running hot water late afternoon and upon request
Spacious verandah furnished with easy chairs and coffee table
Lighting and fans are solar powered 240 v AC which is also available for recharging video cameras
Tents are large, well ventilated and have free standing fans
Rechargeable torches are supplied
