by air Ruaha National Park is well serviced by air from Dar es Salaam. Flights to Ruaha generally go via the Selous, which is why the two work so well together, and take in the region of 2 hours.

Getting to Ruaha National P. by Road

Don't bother driving to Ruaha National Park unless you are a resident of Tanzania or you have plenty of time on your hands. The road from Dar es Salaam to Iringa takes around 8 hours and a dirt road from Iringa to Ruaha National Park takes a further 4- 5 hours.
