The success of your safari will depend on a few critical elements. The sorts of activites you're after, the kinds of experiences you'd like to have, the styles of accommodation you prefer, or, possibly most important of all, the wildlife you're hoping to encounter.
How you mix all these ingredients will have a profound influence on the shape of your safari. Of course the recipes are more or less endless, but we felt it might be useful to give you a few combinations that relate to some of the more common approaches.
We dont expect you to fit into any particular pigeon hole, but here are a few starting points that may give you a way in:
Wild
Remoter areas, sometimes (but not always) quieter game, a more elemental experience, possibly more challenging activities, simpler accommodation, altogether more purist in essence. read more
Beach
What better than to hit the beach for a week or so after a safari. The Indian Ocean Beaches are as spectacular as they are numerous, from Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia Islands off the coast of Tanzania, to the legendary Kenyan Coast stretching from Kiwayu to the north of Lamu Island down to the south of Mombasa. read more
Luxury
Luxury safaris mean different things to different people; comfort and style come close to the top of the list, but we feel that flexibility, quality of your guide, exclusivity of your area - in short the intangibles - are the things that represent a luxury that it's increasingly difficult to fnd these days. read more
Family
One of the greatest things you can do as a family is to scoop everyone up and take them on safari. Its a fact. We've brought up our own kids in Africa, we've guided numerous family safaris over the years and there is just no doubt that its a brilliant way of having fun together and in some cases rediscovering those kids that you may feel have been 'lost' to facebook, nintendo or if they're older perhaps the pub! In our experience the most critical elements to a successful family safari include things such as flexibility, an inspiring and patient guide, plenty of activities, a private car and guide, ideally a private house or private camp. And of course safety, meticulous planning and dependable backup. read more

At Natural High, we've all lived and worked in Africa, so our knowledge is born of
hands-on experience rather than simply visiting on holiday. We can't over-stress how
worthwhile it is to take a few minutes to call us. We're not in the business churning
out thousands of packages so if you'd like to discuss things in detail, take a few
minutes and call Catherine, Fiona, Vanessa or Alex on 1747 898104.close
