Oyster Bay takes its name from the suburb in which its located - the expat hub of Dar Es Salaam. It has recently been transformed into Dar's only boutique hotel with 8 ultra luxury suites, all extremely spacious with large sitting areas and deeply fancy ensuite bathrooms. Read more?
Each suite faces the ocean and has fabulous views. The rooms are over 3 floors with a maximum of 3 rooms on each floor. The ground floor of the building is an open plan sitting and dining area which stretches out into the gardens in front with a good size pool. The hotel abuts a courtyard of boutique shops and arcades called the Oyster Bay shopping centre so you really do not have to go far for your last minuite shopping spree.
Location - Dar Es Salaam
Despite its very optimistic name, Dar es Salaam isn't somewhere that many people would think of spending too much of their holiday time. The name translates as "Haven of Peace" which sounds like a bad joke when you consider the thriving traffic for which the city's best known these days. Jump to page?
