The Royal Palm is just minutes from the city centre and just 12kms from the airport. It is large, with 238 rooms and has all the facilties of a 5 star hotel, however, if you prefer not to be in the city centre itself and away from the bustle then the Seacliff Hotel, although a little more expensive, is a good alternative.

Despite its very optimistic name, Dar es Salaam isn't somewhere that many people would think of spending too much of their holiday time.
