Price Guide - $490 - 645 pppn
Sayari South Camp is located in the Moru Kopjes, at the western edge of the southern Serengeti plains, halfway between Ndutu and the western corridor. The camp is seasonal, and only open from 16 December to 14 March, when the game concentrations in the Serengeti are at its highest. With just 5 tents, the camp is very small and intimate, with very attentive staff and excellent food. Being part of the Asilia Group, the interiors are similar to those of Sayari Camp in the North, with sumptuous large beds, private ensuite bathrooms and large verandahs.
Location - Serengeti and Surrounding Areas
The Serengeti is the best known safari destination in the world with good reason. The proliferation of animal life here simply defies belief and in the company of a good guide, this can be like stepping into a wildlife documentary. We'd advocate building your safari in northern Tanzania around the greater Serengeti, but you do need to be aware that being in the right place at the right time is everything in this neck of the woods. It's worth understanding how the Serengeti works. Jump to page?
