Well...not everyone wants or needs luxury all the time, so this can be a great way of keeping costs down for some of your safari. Head off with a landrover, private guide and lightweight camp to explore the bush in-depth by day and sleep on comfortable camp beds, in dome tents by night. You wont be expected to help with any chores, and the good news is that, in terms of the game and the wildlife, this is arguably one of the best ways of seeing Northern Tanzania. It needn't be the whole of your safari, but it makes for a bit of adventure for a few days. The concept of the Serengeti Adventure Camp is simple - it's yours for the duration of the safari and we can put it more or less where we want (it's not limited to the Serengeti). The camp can be used throughout Northern Tanzania and for the best experience we'd suggest staying in private camp sites. Lake Manyara National ParkWith your private camp, it's easy to take in a day or so at Manyara, either on the way to or from the Serengeti of the Ngorongoro Highlands. While you can do the park in a day or so, it's also somewhere that can be very rewarding if taken slowly, particularly if you have an interest in birdlife. Ngorongoro Crater and HighlandsThis could be one of the best places to use this camp as Ngorongoro offers the limited choice of high luxury (at a high price) or large, uninteresting lodges. Serengeti National ParkThis is where the Adventure Camp realy comes into its own. Take the time to visit 2 or more locations if you possibly can, and you'll begin to get a feel for the scale and variety of game and scenery in this park. Tarangire National ParkTarangire can be easily combined with the rest of the parks in northern Tanzania using the Adventure Mobile Camp.
