To go on safari for your honeymoon is to embrace a world of romance that has inspired generations. The best small safari camps offer a heady mix of adventure, superb service (you certainly wont neeed to lift a finger) and excellent food. Spend a few days in the wild, game viewing from one of Tanzania's most stylish luxury camps. From there it's a short hop to the coast; white sandy beaches, private islands and shamefull amounts of indulgence.Katavi National ParkProbably not your run of the mill honeymoon destination, but if you're looking for something really unusual then Chada Camp in Katavi is certainly that. Low key, but hugely stylish, this is a traditional tented safari camp where service, food and, of course, first class game viewing are all on offer. If you feel like testing your marriage at this early stage, spend a night flycamping - there are few things more romantic than lying under the stars of the African night sky, surrounded by the sounds of the wild. Lake Manyara National ParkLake Manyara Tree Lodge is hard to beat as a destination for a honeymoon safari. The lodge is small, exquisitely built and offers every comfort you can think of, while still managing to make them feel appropriate to it's natural location. Have long baths in the tree tops, showers out under the stars and enjoy the excellent food and service for which this camp has become reknowned. (oh and of course there's the game viewing too...) Mahale Mountains National ParkThere can be few places as romantic as Mahale. Beautifully designed, open fronted cottages at Greystoke Camp, with roof decks, lead straight onto the white sand beach and - after no more than 20 steps - into the crystal clear waters of Lake Tanganyika. And that's before you even set foot in the forest. Ngorongoro Crater and HighlandsThere's little middle ground at Ngorongoro Crater lodge, it's high luxury and somewhere you'll either love or hate, but for a honeymoon safari, it takes some beating. You'll have the time of your life here and love the sheer indulgence of sunken baths, massages, personal butlers and even a shop where you can peruse the latest Maasai bling bling..
