Having said that, the location is blessed with space and therefore if peace and tranquility is what you are looking for, you will find many a hidden place to sit in a quiet corner and wonder at the wildlife around you.   Guests can choose from standard camping to comfortable and spacious chalet rooms.  For luxury and romance, there is the fabulous Jackalberry Treehouse, set away from the main camp and very secluded  with all the trimmings and standards of many other lodges but at a fraction of the price.    Here you have full room service and can totally immerse yourself in the african surroundings without having to step out of your door.

Setting them aside from some of their neighbours, Flatdogs is one of the few 'child friendly' camps, so friendly they have a nanny service and special childs menu. They also offer a room only rate, giving full flexibility on what you chose to do each day, from game driving, walking or, to just relaxing in the camp.   It can therefore be a perfect place to stay at the end or the beginning of a long safari. Jess and Aidie who have been managing Flat Dogs for the last 5 years are hugely welcoming and helpful, ensure that your stay is more than just an average african safari holiday.
