Bush camping with Robin Pope Safaris is taking walking safaris back to their routes. Debs, a Brit who fell in love with the bush and Zambia many years ago is a really superb guide. This is bush camping so the crew will set up and take down the tents as you move. You will be extremely comfortable but without over the top luxuries. The emphasis is on experiencing the bush and being back to nature and you walk between camps with your picnic lunch and t'caddy portered with you.
There is no electricity in camp - only paraffin lamps and bush showers. These trips usually run for two or three nights are are brilliant combined with a stay in one of the lodges.
Location - South Luangwa
The Luangwa Valley is probably Zambia's best known wildlife area. As well as having very good all-round game, Luangwa is somewhere that has gained a well deserved reputation for walking safaris, though there is a great deal more to do above and beyond. Jump to page?
