Victoria Falls
Livingstone is a buzzy little place, quite literally as there are helicopters and microlites zipping around overhead. The focus is on the Victoria Falls and the views of the Falls are extremely good from the Zambian side. Make sure you have some waterproof equipment for your cameras as visiting the Falls, particularly after the rains is a bit like having a very high powered rather cold shower!
All the activities are well organised and efficient. There is a friendly feel to the area and it should be considered, not just as for a quick visit to the Victoria Falls, but as a place to really relax, either before or after a safari. It is also somewhere where you can have fun, particularly for families as there really is a huge amount to do, although you do have to budget the extra activities into any safari.
