Recently featured in House and Garden, Tangala House is the home to Ben and Vanessa Parker who are partners in Tongabezi. The family actually live there most of the year and therefore it is only available during school holidays (namely Christmas, Easter and June through to the end of August), when the family are travelling elsewhere. Tangala House is far enough from the Falls to escape the touristy aspects but close enough for easy access to activities (many of which are included) and is fabulously located on the Zambezi River. It is extremely spacious, stylish and elegant and has all the creature comforts you'd expect of a luxurious private home in the bush. You have your own private guide and host, chef, waiter, housekeeper, a large pool and ground attendant, as well as private use of vehicles and boats and with enough space for up to 8 people, it is a perfect family retreat.

Livingstone is a buzzy little place, quite literally as there are helicopters and microlites zipping around overhead.
