Lower Zambezi National Park camps - Kanyemba Lodge
Completely surrounded by nature, with just a few small villages inhabited by the Goba tribe nearby, Kanyemba Lodge is an exclusive relaxing spot. A collection of 6 permanent cottages and welcoming pool the lodge is built on the banks of the Zambezi River. It is a fairly long haul to the Park itself and so opportunities to visit tend to be limitted to one day per stay but there is plenty to keep you entertained closer to home with canoeing, boating and fishing as well as walking on the private island opposite the main camp (where there is a bush camp).
Kanyameba is very well managed with a strong Zambian/Italian theme, influenced by its owner Riccardo Garbaccio - it is particularly well-suited to families. Most people drive here to and from Lusaka (as opposed to fly) the transfer taking 4/5 hours depending on traffic.
Price includes food, drinks, laundry and activities.
