Palaces of Rajasthan itinerary

Each of our journeys in India is tailor-made to suit your own interests, preferred style of accommodation, pace of travel and budget. Using a private car and driver we can put together the best trip of Rajasthan to suit you. The following is a suggestion of how a trip might look if you’d like to visit - and stay - in some of Rajasthan’s wonderful palaces.

Fly to Delhi and transfer directly to Patan. Recover from your flight at the lovely country palace.

Transfer to Jaipur. Stop en route at Samode Palace for lunch before taking a guided tour of the spectacular Amber Fort Palace. In Jaipur visit the stunning City Palace, ‘Palace of Winds’, royal gardens and bazaars. (If preferred you could stay at Samode and make a full day excursion to Jaipur).

Drive to Bijaynagar or Shahpura and spend the night at a residence belonging to descendants of the region’s former local rulers.

Continue to Deogarh Mahal and stay at the palace. Meet the charming royal owners, take a ride in a classic car, enjoy a royal picnic or private dining on a secluded terrace.

End your trip in Udaipur  and stay in one of its gorgeous palace hotels. Explore the magical City Palace complex and gain a different view of the city from a boat on the lake.

Fly to Delhi or Bombay for your international flight home.
