Lake Naivasha camps - Loldia House

Loldia House

Located on the floor of the Rift Valley nearby Lake Naivasha, this old colonial home has been converted into a luxury homestay which is a convenient base from which to visit Lake Naivasha and the soda Lakes of Nakuru, Elementaita and Bogoria where flamingos and pelicans breed.

Lake Naivasha's once aesthetic profile has sadly been tainted by acres of flower farms under polythene tunnels. However, a visit to the flower farms may be of interest to some and the bird-watching around the Lake is worthwhile.

Nakuru is well known for white rhino, leopard and birdlife and the gorge and thermals at Hell's Gate National Reserve make an interesting day out.

Incl. FB, drinks & walks. Excl.. Trips to Lake Nakuru & Hell's Gate, sundowners on the gondola, trips to Crescent Island Sanctuary by boat, visits to the flower farms.
