Pokhara accommodation - Fishtail Lodge

Fishtail Lodge

Getting to Fishtail Lodge is all part of the experience of staying here. Sitting on a peninsula in Phewa Tal your arrival at the hotel is on a rope-drawn pontoon across the lake, gliding across the snow-capped mountains reflected in the water. Surrounded by well-tended tropical gardens the 60 rooms are housed in low slate-roofed bungalows, with views of the Annapurna range or the lake.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of local and international cuisine, including fresh fish dishes and is renowned for fantastic views of the mountains. There is a cosy bar and fireplace which is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of local exploring, fishing or bird watching.

Profits generated by Fish Tail Lodge are donated to the Princess Jayanti Memorial Trust that raises awareness and helps cardiac patients in Nepal.
