Summer is a super time to visit Ladakh in the Indian Himalayas – it’s cut off from the rest of India by snow for the rest of the year.
STAYING IN SIMPLE BUT STYLISH MOUNTAIN HOMES THIS IS A PERFECT TRIP FOR THE ACTIVE AND ADVENTUROUS.
A rare chance to experience an unchanged rural way of life in this remote part of India. Journeys between your village houses are on foot, by river raft and by vehicles off the beaten track in Ladakh's Indus Valley.
Your excellent accompanying guide is always on hand to give you introductions to its people from shamans to smiths, with visits to Buddhist monasteries and walks to colourful oases and turquoise lakes in the high altitude deserts, all with views of rugged snow-capped peaks.
Mountains are the beginning and end of all natural scenery.”
