A NOTE FROM OLLY
INSPIRATION & GROUND TRUTH
I have been tracking and painting grizzly bears for over 20 years, primarily in coastal Alaska. The cost and logistics involved with working with wild bears is huge. A good friend introduced me to this team in Canada and after experiencing what they offer with my own daughter we were both hugely impressed. This is a true, world class wilderness outfit. Firstly, these are totally wild grizzly bears in a vast untouched wilderness. There are no viewing platforms here. Here you put in work to see bears the old school way; on foot with a true expert. You track the bears with a calm, gentle expert armed with infinite knowledge of bear behaviour and the habits of wild wolves and mountain lions, moose and wolverines that cohabit this secret valley. Sharing this extraordinary experience with my daughter was one of those holiday memories we will both treasure. It is the October half-term adventure for adventure-loving families and I cannot recommend it highly enough with its great hospitality, warm comfortable cabins, delicious home-cooked meals and wonderful guides. You never know how many bears you will see!
