On wheels - Driving Safaris
Game viewing from a vehicle is the mainstay of most safaris. It of course allows you to cover distance over often-arduous terrain and gets you close to the game. Animals are generally much less shy of vehicles than they are of people on foot and in many of the parks they all but ignore vehicles altogether, so photography opportunities are excellent and the whole safari can be conducted in comfort.
Best places for game drives The Serengeti and surrounding areas lend themselves particularly well to driving safaris combining all the northern Tanzania parks; Loliondo, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara | Game drives from Mwagusi Safari Camp in Ruaha are rarely dull... | The Masai Mara from one of the smaller camps like Kicheche Mara Camp offers superb game drives.
In southern Africa, the best game drives can be found in the vast Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe where herds of hundreds of buffalo and elephant are common, the Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa in Zambia - great for predators, Chobe National Park in Botswana which is good for both elephant and lion and Etosha National Park in Namibia where it is not uncommon to see ten different species sharing a waterhole.

At Natural High, we've all lived and worked in Africa, so our knowledge is born of
hands-on experience rather than simply visiting on holiday. We can't over-stress how
worthwhile it is to take a few minutes to call us. We're not in the business churning
out thousands of packages so if you'd like to discuss things in detail, take a few
