When’s the best time to visit Victoria Falls?

The best time to visit Victoria Falls depends on what you want to do there.  For a good view of the falls, unobscured by spray, visit between July – September.  Between May and June, the river is in full flow and you’re likely to get drenched attempting to get a decent photo.  October – December is not the best time to see the falls from Zambia as the water dries up a bit on that side.  January – April is a good time to see the falls as the rains start to fill it up, but it’s wet season so it will be humid and there’s a good chance of rain.  Remember that this does depend on the rains so is just a guideline.
