Lower Zambezi National Park camps - Anabezi Camp
The newest addition in a long line of lodges and camps on the lower Zambezi and unlike other Lodges which face right upon a river, Anabezi Camp looks out on an empty floodplain where wildlife graze with the river just 200 meters away alongside the Lodge.
The name is a combination of the "Ana" Tree which symbolizes the abundant Winterthorn trees that surround the camp, many elephants frequent these trees and are a welcome sight in the camp, and the Zambezi River. The view from the camp is of the Zambezi's floodplain area with glimpses of the main river, the Mushika riverbed (dry and sandy most of the year), and winterthorn forests. The camp itself is clean and stylish.
Anabezi is the furthest East of the camps in the Lower Zambezi NP and thus in the area least frequented by people - the driving, walking and fishing opportunities are all excellent.
